Caroline Ripley

Caroline is registered Social Worker with vast experience of both individual and family based therapy and intervention. Caroline prioritises providing a safe space for her clients to explore life's challenges and to find resolutions to live a more balance, authentic and fulfilling life.
Caroline is trained and practices Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Functional Family Therapy (FFT). Caroline is also trained to faciltiate the Triple P Parenting Programme, level 4 standard. She has an extensive social services background both in the statutory and non-statutory fields and has had the opportunity to work alongside many individuals and their whanau.

Caroline is interested in trauma, stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, general personal growth, and life transitional issues. Caroline also provides clinical and cultural supervision, supporting practitioners such as social workers, counsellors, youth workers and community workers in their practice.

Caroline is of Tūhoe and Ngati awa descent. Her life experience and training skills allow her to effectively support Maori who are grappling with working in a Pakeha context, and non-Maori who are struggling to come to terms with working in what may seem like an increasingly Maori context.
